Johnson, Vern C. age 92, of Mounds View, MN ran joyfully into heaven on May 3, 2022. He is survived by his beloved wife of 66 years, Betty Dillon Johnson; brother, Roger Johnson; sister-in-law and brother-in-law Marj and Gil Watson; daughters Sue Drakulic and Sandy Agrimson (John), and son Scott Johnson (Sue); grandchildren Todd Drakulic (Kristen), Holly Benjamin (Josh), Steve Drakulic (Kristin), Kevin Drakulic (Emily) and Kara Carter; Tom Agrimson (Whitney), Kersti Pruka (Charles King), Brian Agrimson (Kaleigh), Britt Agrimson (Kyle Foss); Kiersten Thomsen (Jake), Kara Johnson, and Jake Johnson; and 20 awesome great- grandchildren as well as many special nieces and nephews and dear friends, especially the Salem sharing group. He was preceded in death by his son-in-law, Dan Drakulic. Vern was a dedicated and loving husband, father, grandfather, great- grandfather and friend. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. He retired from Honeywell after a 40 year engineering career, including three patents. He had a love for hunting and fishing and all MN sports teams, no matter how much they struggled! A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2022 at Salem Covenant Church, with visitation at 10:00 a.m. followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers and plants, memorials are preferred to Salem Covenant Church (salem-covenant.church) or a favorite charity of your choice. millerfuneralfridley.com 763-571-1300
