Harper, Trudy (Olin) passed away peacefully on March 30, 2022 in Minneapolis. Born in Faribault, MN on November 28, 1942, she lived most of her life in south Minneapolis and on Cathedral Hill in St. Paul. For over 40 years, Trudy graced the Twin Cities with her heavenly harp music. She played for all variety of occasions, from weddings and garden tours to corporate events. Trudy could often be seen performing at the Arboretum in the summer and Downtown during the winter holidays. Every week for over 20 years, she was a fixture at the Northland Inn's Sunday brunch. Volunteering was important to Trudy, and she always made time to share the gift of music in hospitals and nursing homes. She was once described by the mother of a bride as, "the perfect harpist." Her talents, creativity and natural curiosity manifested in other ways. Trudy was a graduate of the College of St. Catherine and an active alumni. She was a member of Lake Country School's founding board, helping to lay the foundation for a vibrant Montessori community in Minneapolis. An award winning quilter, she was a founding member of Minnesota quilters. She lovingly restored her victorian home, complete with an elegant parlor for her harps. In her free time she enjoyed gardening, trips up north camping and fishing, and time with her dear friends. Trudy is survived by daughter, Jenny, granddaughters, Olivia Rose and Cecilia Ann, son-in-law, Martin, and by her loving partner Chris Hart
