Eddleston, Eugene E. "Gene" age 66 of Lino Lakes passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer on March 6, 2022. Gene was a graduate of Mounds View High school and worked in the Quality Assurance field for Honeywell, Alliant Tech Systems, and Bokers. He was an avid deer and elk hunter and was a MN Firearms Safety Instructor for 45 plus years. 15 year member of Star Touring and Riding. Gene was proud to be the neighborhood tree service. He is preceded in death by his son, Gunnery Sgt. Gregory Eddleston USMC, daughter Laura Eddleston, and parents, James E. Sr. and Ruth E. Eddleston. He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Sharyn; son Thomas (Talene) and granddaughter Rylejean; brothers, Jim, Will (Vicki), Bobby (Tammy), and Phillip (Jane). mother-in-law, Arlys. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, especially his companion Riesling. Special thanks to St. Croix Hospice, MHealth Fairview Cancer Center (Dr. Gupta), and Minnesota Oncology. Visitation 4-8 PM Monday, March 14, 2022 at Holcomb-Henry-Boom-Purcell Funeral Home, 515 Hwy 96 W. at Mackubin, Shoreview. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM Tuesday (visitation at 10:30 AM) at St. Joseph of the Lake Catholic Church, 171 Elm Street, Lino Lakes. Interment St. Joseph church cemetery.
