Cherwien, Susan Palo Age 67 of St. Louis Park, MN. Poet. Hymnwriter. Thinker. Singer. Surrounded by her family, Susan's soul took wing on December 28, 2021 due to Metastatic Uterine Sarcoma. Preceded in death by parents, John Palo and Myrtle Grapatin Palo. Survived by husband, David; sons and daughters-in-law, Jeremiah and Karen and their children Hannah and James, Benjamin and Angel and their daughter Gabriella; brother and sister-in-law, John and Freddie Palo; sister, Nancy Bukowski; many other relatives and friends. Visitation on Thursday 4-8 pm (in four one-hour shifts to limit numbers) at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church, 3045 Chicago Ave. South, with Susan's hymns and reflections sung and read with reception following in the undercroft for each shift. Holy Eucharist will be celebrated on Friday at 10 am. The service will also be livestreamed.
