Borgen, RoseMary of St. Louis Park, age 90, passed away on November 29 at the Lyngblomsten Care Community in St. Paul. Rosie was born to parents Vincent and Veronica Witschen in St. Cloud MN on April 25, 1931. She graduated from St. Cloud Cathedral High School and married Adolph Borgen in 1952 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in St. Cloud. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and sisters Ionella Blaske, Marcella Symalla, Alvina Sauer, Luann Billig & Annette Kahlhamer; brothers Jerome, Richard and Eldon. She is survived by her brother-in-law Richard Kahlhamer and many loving nieces and nephews. Faith in God was a large part of her life and she was an active member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Golden Valley. Rosie was an avid sports fan who cheered for the Vikings, Twins, and Gophers. She will be remembered for her love of chocolate and love of everything purple. She also enjoyed sharing a good joke. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 7 at the Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 145 Jersey Av. S. in Golden Valley. Visitation will be held at the church beginning one hour prior to the mass. Interment will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery on Wednesday, December 8 at 10:30 a.m. Memorials to Good Shepherd Catholic Church are preferred in lieu of flowers. gearty-delmore.com 952-926-1615
