Paulson, Orin Curtis of Hopkins was the oldest child born to Selma and Henry Paulson in Greenbush, MN on September 1, 1923. He had a sister, Alice Paulson, who preceded him in death and a younger brother, Roy Paulson who survives him. Sports were a major part of his life in high school and remained so throughout his life. In fact it was while managing the local baseball team that he noticed a special lady working the scoreboard. That began a lasting love with Mae (Gjovik) that continued through 67 years of married life. Orin began a truck driving career shortly after their marriage and he proudly retired from Red Owl Foods after driving with a perfect record for 30 years. Retiring at age 62 he was retired for more years than he worked. Orin is survived by his children: Sharon (George) Paulson, Lynda (Dennis) Blake, Steve (Sheryl) Paulson and Pamela (Randy) Hull; 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; his brother Roy, nieces and nephews and numerous friends. In lieu of Flowers, memorials are suggested to Community Bible Studies, International an organization that supports a mission in Uganda. Please make checks payable to Rock Communications, 8747 201st Ave. NW, Elk River, MN 55330. Lynda and Dennis Blake are short term missionaries to Uganda and Sudan. A celebration of life will be held 11AM, Friday November 19 at The Mills Church 13215 Minnetonka Dr. Minnetonka, MN 55305, with visitation one hour prior. Washburn-McReavy.com 952-938-9020
