McPherson, Betty Jean (née Rathbun) Age 93, of Blaine, MN, passed away on November 9, 2021. Preceded in death by husband of 65 years, Gerald McPherson; and son-in- law, Mike Olson. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great- grandmother, she is survived by children, Cheryl Olson, Colleen Degnan (Russ Rosa), Cindy (Dudley) Gerber, Scott (Joni) and Coree McPherson (Terry Hartwig); 9 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren. She graduated from Central High School Mpls. in June 1946. She looked forward to her annual luncheons with her Central Pioneers group of friends, who called themselves the TATs, which stood for Tiny And Terrific. She also enjoyed traveling and was able to visit every state in the continental U.S. and most Canadian provinces. Funeral service 11 AM Monday, November 15 at Zion Lutheran Church (1601 4th Ave. S., Anoka) with visitation one hour prior to service at church. Luncheon at Bunker Event Center, located in the Bunker Hills Golf Club (12800 Bunker Prairie Road NW, Coon Rapids) will follow the service. Private interment Lakewood Cemetery.
