Monseth, Gary Alan Gary passed away in his sleep November 3 at the age of 78 in Bloomington, MN. He was a liberal activist in his youth, attending the March on Washington in 1968 among other activities. He was also an artist at heart and had an amazing talent for photo-realistic illustration, which he was able to use in his career as a commercial interior designer. All who knew him commented on his witty banter, sense of style, and creativity. He is survived by daughters Andrea (Andie) Stiles (Lal) and Jana Monseth (Derrick Barron), granddaughter Arabelle, ex-wives Barbara Rose and Sara Church, siblings Amy Korinke, Richard Monseth, and Laurie Schneider; and nieces and nephews. Memorial gifts to First Unitarian Society of Minneapolis. His life and passing are being honored in a private family gathering.
