Campion, Marion Ruth At the age of 93, Marion passed away peacefully in her Minneapolis home surrounded by her family on October 22, 2021. Born July 8, 1928, she is now resting in peace with those she lost, including her parents, sisters, brother, beloved husband Jerry, sons Patrick, Mike and Tim, daughter Carol, grandson Scott. She is survived by her brother Robert (Dorothy), children Judy (Phil), Janie (Jim), Greg (Brenda), Barb (Ken), Bruce (Jessica), daughters-in-law Marilee and Sandy, 15 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Marion was known for opening her heart and her home to family, friends and neighbors. For decades her home was the place everyone wanted to gather, even giving the gift of one last gathering as she passed. Marion was generous, kind-hearted, inclusive, comforting and resilient, loving her family unconditionally. She knew how to care for or fix almost anything, whether with a button, a cookie, a warm embrace, prayer or just sitting and listening. She touched the lives of so many and she'll live in our hearts forever. A service will be held on Nov. 13 at the Church of St. Albert the Great (2836 33rd Ave S, Minneapolis) - 10 a.m. visitation in the back of the church, followed by 11 a.m. service and Noon luncheon.
