Trangsrud, Darryl Alan age 77, of Minnetonka died October 25, 2021. Darryl's primary years were in Greenbush, Minnesota, followed by secondary years in Minnetonka. After high school, he served in the army for two years then became an electrician. He later spent most of his career as an electrical inspector for the city of Minnetonka. He enjoyed being sociable with his work colleagues, siblings, and cousins. He looked forward to the annual Trangsrud family deer hunting weekend near Roseau. He was most proud of his children and the family house he built in 1983. He was preceded in death by his parents: Harley and Alvilda Trangsrud, and grandson, Bear. He is survived by two siblings: Roger (Elizabeth) Trangsrud and Cindy (Stephen Munzer) Trangsrud; four children: Angie (Dan) Tix, Kirk (Julie) Trangsrud, JD (Meghan) Trangsrud, & Robin (Dominic Silvia) Trangsrud; and eight grandchildren: Linnea, Oscar, Annika, Bode, Koda, Whitney, Kyle, and Will; and nieces and nephews: Amy, David, Alison, and Erik. The service will be on November 10, 2021, at 11am at Oak Knoll Lutheran Church at 600 Hopkins Crossroads, Minnetonka. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.
