Anger, Caterina Maddalena age 83 of Apple Valley, MN passed away peacefully after a long battle with Alzheimer's on October 7th, 2021. Survived by her sons, David (Doris), John; daughter in-law Lori; 10 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; loving relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, her husband Charles Anger; son, Gary; granddaughter, Elisadora, & sisters and brothers in Italy. Lena was a true one-of-a-kind beauty born in Italy. She met the love of her life Charles while he was stationed there. She attended college in Venice to become a nurse and worked at a hospital in town. She continued her career in Minnesota to care for the elderly. Lena taught exercise class for the Bloomington Education program for many years. Her endless energy and passion for life was a gift she shared with all who knew her. Singing in the church choir, sewing, knitting, crocheting, biking, gardening, cooking, and fishing were some of her most enjoyed talents. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and friend who will be missed by all but never forgotten. Visitation Monday, Oct. 11th 5:00-7:00pm at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, 9947 Lyndale Ave. S., Bloomington. Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday, Oct. 12th 11:00am at St. Bonaventure Church, 901 E. 90th St., Bloomington. Additional visitation 1 hour before funeral service.
