Robert P. Kiefer

Kiefer, Robert P. age 78 of Monticello MN, passed away on September 27, 2021. Bob was born in Veblen, South Dakota to George (Pete) and Verna Kiefer on January 15, 1943. He attended North Dakota State University and received a Master's Degree from the University of North Dakota. Bob married Dawn Seavert on June 11, 1966. Bob served in the Army and was stationed at the Pentagon. He worked for NSP for 37 years as an internal auditor. Bob is preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Verna Kiefer and sister, Patrice Kiefer Peterson. Bob is survived by his wife, Dawn Kiefer: sons Michael (Tracy) Kiefer, Paul (Terri) Kiefer and Ryan (Megan) Kiefer: brother, Randy Kiefer, and sisters Paulet (Richard) Rousseau and Pamela (Keith) Hoistad: Grandchildren Ian, Jason, Tyler (Duncan) Comer, Miranda, Ezra, Logan, Rhen, Trey, and Jet. A Celebration of Life will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at Foul Line Sports Bar, 3875 School Blvd, Monticello. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at St. Henry's Catholic Church, 1001 East 7th Street, Monticello. Visitation with family to occur one hour prior. Private burial at a later date in Cayuga, North Dakota. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are by Crescent Tide.
