Chester G.W. Gustafson

Gustafson, Chester G.W. age 76, of Corcoran, MN passed away September 20, 2021. Preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Penelope Gustafson. Chester was a master truck mechanic, a private airplane pilot and a certified private craft sailor. He served in Vietnam receiving the Bronze Star. Survived by his daughter, Dawn Skogsberg, step-daughter Brandee Lee Hiller & grandchildren Madison Skogsberg, Wyatt Skogsberg, Josephine Skogsberg and step-grandchildren Gideon Hiller and Hazel Hiller. Chester was a loving father and grandfather, and a generous and kind friend. He was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. He will be sorely missed. A memorial will be held at the Cremation Society of MN, Brooklyn Park Office, 7835 Brooklyn Boulevard, Brooklyn Park on Thursday, September 30th from 5-7:30. There will be a brief service at 6 p.m. followed by an informal dinner.
