Mary Alice 'Mare' Kremer

Kremer, Mary "Mare" Alice February 12, 1954 - August 11, 2021 Mary grew up on a farm in eastern Stearns County and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1972. She attended the College of St. Benedict before graduating from the Mayo School of Health Related Sciences in 1977. In 1991, Mary was certified by the IAOM in Orthopedic Medicine and Manual Therapy; in 2013 she earned her Doctorate of Science in Physical Therapy from Texas Tech University Health Science Center. Mary retired this spring after 44 years of healing as a Senior Therapist at the Institute for Athletic Medicine in Minneapolis, MN. Mary was preceded in death by parents, Leo Kremer and Marion (Feddema) Kremer; brother, Gary Kremer. Mary is survived by her brothers, Lee (Sheri), Michael (Laurie), Mark and sister-in-law Gerri Kremer. Mary was loved and admired by nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends from around the country. Mary fought mesothelioma with courage and great tenacity. She blessed us with an exceptional sense of humor and dedication to the healing profession. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Church of St. Joan of Arc, 4537 3rd Ave S., Minneapolis, on August 19, 2021 at 11AM.
