Dwyer, Timothy John Age 73 died on May 14, 2021, surrounded by family and dear friend Fr. John Malone. Tim is survived by his wife Mary and children Shannon, Murphy (Meghan), Kelly (Emily), Sean, and bearded collies Bishop and Winston. His greatest pride and achievements were his children, and he valued every moment he could spend with them. Tim grew up in Minneapolis and was one of seven children of Russell and Margaret Dwyer. He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Tom, Dan, John, and sister Margaret. Tim graduated from Washburn high school. He received a B.S. degree in accounting and economics from Mankato State. He later received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law and practiced for almost fifty years in St. Paul in the beloved, historical Hamm Building. Tim was a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon and enjoyed lifelong friendships with many of his fraternity brothers. He enjoyed following Minnesota State-Mankato sports and had hoped that the football team would win the national championship. Sports played a significant role in Tim's life, and he was an avid tennis and racquetball player, golfer and completed several rollerblading marathons. A lover of science and history, he also liked great music, including The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Abba. He enjoyed watching his four children play sports and vacationing with them at Disney World. Our family wants to thank Dr. Michael Klajda and the staff at the University of Minnesota Cardiology ICU for Tim's excellent care. Our special thank you to Dr. James Zavoral for Tim's dedicated care and friendship until the end. A Catholic Mass and Irish wake are planned for this summer to celebrate Tim's life with family and friends. Please send memorials to The Parkinson's Foundation.
