Bloberger, Clifford M. "Cliff" aka: The Big Red Dog Born 2-12-1937 to Nick and Edith Bloberger in Minneapolis, left his cancer behind and entered into the arms of Jesus on 4-27-2021. Preceded in death by both parents; wife, Suzanne (Rundquist); sister, Mildred Frissell; brother in-law, Larry Henson. Survived by siblings, Gladys Henson, John (Marj) Bloberger, brother Michael (Cheryl) Bloberger; Brother in-law, Sidney Frissell, and many nephews and nieces. Graduate of Hopkins High School Class of 1954. Graduated from St. Cloud State with BS in Elementary Education then taught for many years in Watertown until retirement. Cliff married Suzanne Rundquist (also a St. Cloud State Education Grad) on June 10, 1961. Cliff bought an amazing 80 acres with private lake in 1956 which brought joy to many family and friends; especially Sue who bagged more deer than anyone else and seemed to catch the biggest fish, all to Cliff's delight. Sue loved the outdoors as much as Cliff. They spent a lot of time fishing, deer hunting, skiing, snowmobiling, traveling the world and playing cribbage. Memorial service will be Saturday, May 8th with an 11AM Mass at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Golden Valley. Visitation beginning at 10AM. Masks are required and distancing will be observed at church. For those who are unable to attend, the Mass will be Live Streamed on the St. Margaret Mary Website. Graveside service will follow at Mound Cemetery in Brooklyn Center. All are welcome to Cliff's home for refreshments and time to share. Memorial preferred to St. Margaret Mary Church.
