Lindner, Arlon of Rogers, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on February 1, 2021. Born on August 3, 1935 in Beaumont, Texas he never quite lost his Texas accent. Arlon was a graduate of North Texas State University and received a Master of Divinity Degree from Central Baptist Theological Seminary and very much enjoyed the Bible and was a member of the Independent Baptist Church of Ramsey. He was a proud American patriot who served 8 years in the US Naval Air Reserves and 12 years in the Minnesota State Legislature as State Representative. He will be sadly missed by all who loved him and fondly remembered by all who knew him. Arlon is survived by his wife, Shirlee; daughters, Laura, Amy, Alison and Alayna; sister, Myrna Sutton of Fort Worth, TX; 12 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and his faithful German shepherd Alex. He was preceded in death by parents, John Archie and Myrtie Lindner and brother John Leslie Lindner. Funeral 1:30 Monday at Gearty-Delmore Chapel of Plymouth, 15800 37th Ave. N. with visitation starting at 12:30. The service will be livestreamed, please see the obituary on the funeral home website.
