Mavis Videl Horstman

Horstman, Mavis Videl age 95, of Minneapolis, MN passed away November 19, 2020. Mavis was born in Brinsmade, ND to Vigilius and Mathilda Westlund. Mavis graduated from South High School in Minneapolis, MN in 1943. She then started a family with Glenn Horstman and raised three children all while completing a nursing degree in Public Health from the University of Minnesota (class of '65). Mavis was dedicated to her community, her family, and rooted deeply in faith. Mavis is preceded in death by her parents, her siblings (Lucille, Juanita, Quintin), her children (Susan, Lawrence), Glenn Horstman, and many friends and relatives who she loved deeply for close to a century. Mavis is survived by her daughter (Diane Graham), 10 grandchildren, and dozens of great and great-great grandchildren. We celebrate Mavis today and look back on her life with fond memories and love. Mavis will be celebrated and interred to her final resting place at the Chapel of the Good Shepherd in Faribault, MN in a private family ceremony. boldtfuneralhome.com
