King, Lucille E. (Sommer) of Edina. The heart of our family, our cherished mother Lucy, passed away on November 17th at the age of 85. Now in heaven, she joins her husband, Mack; brothers, Duane and William; parents, Anthony and Edyth in the arms of the angels. Survived by daughter Liane (Michael) Cavanaugh, sons William (Theresa), Robert, Paul and Ron (Helen); nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She lived her life as a vibrant, independent and progressive women. Known for 26 years at the USPS as a mail carrier, long time member and past president of the Uptown VFW Auxiliary and member of M.O.C. Because of current restrictions a private Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday 10 AM at the Basilica of St. Mary, 88 17th St., Minneapolis.
