Sieving (Sheldon), Lynn Ruth Lynn joined her Lord on Nov 12th at age 78. She is survived by her husband David with whom she lived in St. Louis Park MN & her four sisters, Mary Wistrom, Patty Strecker, Vicky Kline & Susan Soenen & numerous nieces & nephews. Born in Lacrosse, WI on July 27, 1942 to Sumner & Ruth Sheldon, she grew up on the Houston County family farm & attended one room country school house until 8th grade. After graduating from Houston, MN High School, she earned her BS in teaching from Winona State College in 1963. After graduating she taught Physical Education for 2 years in Blue Earth, MN & then in St. Louis Park until her retirement in 1996. Her last teaching assignment was Peter Hobart Elementary where she loved teaching the 1st through 3rd grades. Lynn loved to travel, both here & abroad. After meeting David skiing at Afton Alps & then marrying on April 2, 1977, they combined their love of skiing & later their tandem bicycle with their love of traveling. Their trip of a lifetime was to Tanzania, Africa. In her retirement she volunteered for various organization & was a proud member of the Daughters of the America Revolution. Lynn was admired for her courageous fight against Type 1 diabetes, after being diagnosed in 1969 & for her beautiful red hair. Loved by all, she will be missed. When safe, there will be a memorial service at the family farm. Memorial gifts to the American Diabetes Association.
