Hamm, Adeline C. Adeline, age 87 of Ham Lake Minnesota, born August 7, 1933 passed away on October 16, 2020 in her home. Adeline was one of eight children born to Carl and Esther Peterson, and was raised on a farm in Anoka County. She went to the Lake Netta one room school for eight years, and then graduated from Anoka High School. She married Daryl Hamm on October 11, 1952 in a small ceremony before he was deployed to Korea. Adeline worked as a keypunch operator for several years and then worked with her husband as a bookkeeper for many years. Adeline was a lifetime member of Glen Cary Lutheran Church and long time member of the Ham Lake Senior Center. She loved playing cards, visiting with friends and family and the Ham Lake community. Adeline especially enjoyed her friends at her bible study, her apartment and connecting with her long time best friend (who she had known since Sunday School), Delaine Braastad. She was preceded in death by her parents Carl and Esther Peterson: brothers Arnold Peterson, Roy Peterson, Harold Peterson, Alvin Peterson, sister Mildred Rand: son Michael Hamm and infant daughter Annette. She is survived by daughter Diane Harmon (Michael) and daughter-in-law Kerry Hamm; grandchildren Shawna Berg (Brian), Shane Harmon, Tabitha Hyer (Michael), Tony Hamm: brother Norman Peterson, sister Loretta Phillips; and great grandchildren Samuel Berg, Kylie Berg, Colton Hyer, Ella Hyer and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Memorial Service for Adeline will be held on Saturday, November 14th at 11 a.m. at Glen Cary Lutheran Church (15531 Central Avenue NE) in Ham Lake, MN. Masks will be required, and 100 people will be welcomed into the sanctuary. There will be some overflow seating available, and a livestream of the service will be offered.
