Jaeger, Erling Borgen "Jake" was born January 16, 1933 and joined the great carpenter in the sky on October 18, 2020 at 87. Jake served with the U.S. Army and will be buried at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery on November 2, 2020. Jake was a carpenter by trade and was proud of the fact he worked his way up to Executive Vice President of the building division during his 43 year career at Kraus-Anderson. He was a member of Winslow Lewis Masonic Lodge in Osseo, MN and also a long time member of the Zuhrah Shrine in Minneapolis, MN where he served in the Cycle Corps and Antique Car Club. He was happy to support the Shriners Hospitals for Children and served on their board of governors. Jake attended Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth. Jake was a happy soul, full of smiles, warm hugs and never too far from a one liner guaranteed to bring a smile to others. Jake was married to his love and best friend Margaret for 65 years. He is preceded in death by his father, mother, sister Marion, and daughter Diane (13 mos). He will be watching over his four sons, Tom (Christy), David, Doug (Kim) and Rick as well as his favorite grandchildren, Amanda, Jahrel, Emily, Michael, Matthew, Colette & Lili. The family will be celebrating Jake's life in private, prior to the internment. In lieu of flowers, please consider supporting The Shriners Hospitals for Children or Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church of Plymouth, two organizations near and dear to his heart. He will be sorely missed.
