Ila M. Cordes

Cordes, Ila M. Age 83, of Monticello, went home to be with the Lord on October 13, 2020. She was a 1958 graduate of Finley School of Nursing in Dubuque, IA. She worked as a nurse for 12 years before staying home to raise her children. Preceded in death by her parents, Ersel & Fern Edge. She is survived by husband, Richard of 58 years, four children Derek, Don (Mary), Diane (Randy) & Darla (Cory), five grandkids, siblings Iva (Bernard) & Dick (Betty), nieces & nephews. Her family adored her and will miss her. A memorial celebration will be held at a later date.
