R. Marion (Gustafson) Petersmeyer

Petersmeyer, R. Marion (nee Gustafson) Age 93 of Bloomington, formerly of Richfield. Born on February 23, 1927. Went peacefully to heaven on October 11th, 2020. Preceded in death by husband John; great-granddaughter Gabriella Wetschka; parents Gustaf and Ruth Gustafson; brother and sister-in-law Howard and Lorraine Gustafson; in-laws Ben and Eunice Petersmeyer, and Don and Marilyn Petersmeyer. Survived by children Bruce (Barb) Petersmeyer, Bonnie (Guy) Borglund, and David (Jenny) Petersmeyer; grandchildren Briana (Nick) Wetschka, Ben (Christina) Borglund, Kevin Borglund; great- grandchildren Norah and Greta Wetschka, Hannah and John Borglund, and Jaxson Thoren. Marion grew up in South Minneapolis where she met the love of her life John when they were 15. They were married for 50 wonderful years before his death. The most important things in Marion's life were her husband, children, grandchildren, and her faith. She loved celebrating Christmas, baking dozens of Christmas cookies, and time spent at the cabin in Ely. Marion's faithful, patient, grateful, soul was an inspiration to everyone she met, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Private funeral service and interment.
