Peik (Martin), Edna Mae Passed away peacefully on October 10, 2020. Age 101, Lake Minnetonka Shores, Spring Park, MN. Edna was born August 27, 1919 in Arcola, Illinois to Claude and Bertha Martin. Her family moved to Brownton, Minnesota where she graduated from Brownton High School, valedictorian, class of 1937. She attended Minneapolis Business College and later graduated from Mankato Beauty School in 1939. April 6, 1941 she married Orlin C. Peik. They had three children. Edna retired from Supplee Enterprises, Minnetonka, MN after working there for 32 years. She was an active person, with a positive attitude, great sense of humor and a zest for life. She had a love of learning and reading. She especially liked poetry. She loved family outings at the cabin on Big Sandy Lake and traveling. Edna will be sadly missed by family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Orlin (2001), her sister, Florence Peik (2001), her son, Bruce Peik (2004) and son-in-law, James Dickey (2008). Survivors include two daughters, Nancy Seiler and her husband Walt (The Villages, FL), Susan Dickey (Cambridge, MA); five grandchildren, Sondra, Brad, Laura, Chad and Ibrahim; seven great- grandchildren, Asia, Mariah, Chadwick, Scott, Bennett, Isabelle and Amaya.
