Gause, Karleen "Karlie" passed away on July 27th, at the age of 65. Karlie grew up in Plymouth attending Wayzata High School and received her bachelor's de gree from the U of Minnesota. She lived in Robbinsdale with her husband, Gary Pelcl, at the time of her passing. She is survived by her husband, Gary; mother, Dee Gause; sister, Lauri (Bruce) Ordway; brother, Todd (Donna) Gause; niece, Athena Gause and the many friends she considered family. Karlie was able to pursue her passion for beautiful and creative things in both her professional and personal life. Rarely did Karlie meet someone that did not become a true friend. Karlie filled her home and the homes of those closest to her with beautiful pieces of art, sculpture and crystal. The brilliance of her aura matched the shimmering art glass she loved. Her smile and playful attitude were infectious. Sharing these works of art was only one of the ways that she shared her heart. Karlie's Christmas Tree was legendary. It was filled with thousands of lights, hundreds of ornaments and immeasurable love. Karlie loved spending time with her family, which led to involvement with wrestling, as both of her parents were active members of the community. This allowed her to travel the world in her younger years, and more recently be an active supporter of the U of M and St. Cloud wrestling teams. She cherished the time spent with family and friends during these events. Karlie was a gift giver. Generous beyond measure and fiercely loyal, she spread pure goodness all over family and friends, furry and otherwise. Karlie was a quiet leader that could mobilize the troops in moments to make things happen. She was a problem solver. Big or small, Karlie had a crystal ball and saw problems before you knew they existed. She went headfirst into tackling challenges with resolute determination and grit. She exuded excellence in whatever she took on and found great joy in daily toil. Her strength of spirit and mental resolve went deep beyond measure. She did not judge and when she opened her heart to you, it was forever. In the end, Karlie will be remembered for her kind, selfless and loving nature. She was always the first to pitch in and she fulfilled her purpose by helping others. Her strength was unmatched and with it, she was able to overcome multiple battles with cancer and repercussions from treatments long ago. Her friends are many and all our sorrow, great.
