Wollum, Marlys V. (Peterson) 94, of St. Paul, MN, died peacefully Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Episcopal Homes. Born October 7, 1925 in Minneapolis, MN, the daughter of Theodore R. Peterson and Alice (Kelley) Peterson. She married her husband Vincent July 3, 1953. She lived in Fridley and New Brighton, MN, and San Jose, CA. After Vince retired, she wintered in Mesa, AZ, and summered in Akeley, MN. She moved to Buffalo, MN and finally Episcopal Homes, St. Paul, MN. She was a founding member of both St. Phillips Lutheran Church in Fridley, MN, and Spirit of Joy Lutheran Church in Buffalo, MN. Survived by daughter Pamela Wollum and son-in-law Frank Dewey, Mpls; daughter-in-law Cheryl Wollum, Buffalo, MN; grandchildren Eryn (Owen) Vincent, Mpls, John Dewey (Leeann Sit), Mpls, Cassandra and Sonja Wollum, Buffalo, MN; and great-grandson Ancel Vincent. Preceded in death by husband Vincent Wollum, son Gregory Wollum, and brother Stanley Peterson. Because of Covid-19, there will be no public memorial service.
