Ness, Mary Margaret (Dady) Mary Margaret Ness of Bloomington, MN passed away suddenly after a full day of activities on Saturday, July 18th, 2020. Visitation will be at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, Bloomington, MN, on Friday, August 14th, from 5-8 p.m. (rosary 7 p.m.). Memorial Mass will follow on Friday, August 15th at 11:00 a.m. at Nativity of Mary Catholic Church, Bloomington. Since Mary Margaret was proud of her 100% Irish heritage, GREEN ATTIRE is welcomed at the funeral Mass. Interment on Monday, August 17th, at 9:30 a.m. at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ness, and brother John (Jack) Dady. She was born in Wabasha, MN to Paul and Mary Margaret Dady. Her young years were spent on the family farm in Kellogg, MN. She graduated from Kellogg High School and received her BA from the College of St. Teresa, Winona. Employment opportunities led her to Minneapolis where she worked at NSP as a Home Economist. For several years she enjoyed freelance positions at Pillsbury and various photo studios throughout the Twin Cities. Her work was never considered a job and her life revolved around the four pillars of Faith, Family, Friends, and Food. She took a genuine interest in others. Each day was truly lived to the fullest! Mary Margaret is survived by two daughters, Mary Michelle van Wijk (Joe) of New Zealand and Ann Marie Bartz (Greg) of Eden Prairie; and six grandchildren, Danny, Cally, Anna, Elizabeth, Julia, and Sophia.
