Kelly, Edward James Jr. Age 76 of Blaine, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2020, due to multiple ongoing health issues. A US Navy veteran, he was preceded in death by parents, Ed and Bette Kelly; mother- and father-in-law, Ed and Addie Knight; sister-in-law, Colleen Frick; and brother-in-law, Steve Knight. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 54 years, Kathie; his dearly loved children of whom he was so proud, Tracy (Jason) Max, Colleen (Kevin Czaplewski) Kelly, and Michele (Todd Ronkainen) Sornsen; cherished and exceedingly bright grandchildren, Megan, Daniel, Lauren, Emily, Landon, Cameron, Delaney, Matt, Nathan, Ella, Natalie, Brittany, and Mike (Brittany); great-grandchildren, Madison and Hunter; sister, Kathy; and brother Tim (Karen); numerous extended family members including brothers- and sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and his honorary family, The BECOTS (you know who you are).
