Richter, Darlene Delores 70, of MPLS. Passed away May 11 after celebrating Mother's Day with her grandkids and family. Preceded in death by husband, Delroy. Survived in death by son, Jason and his wife, Tiffany and their sons, Maxwell (13), August (9); son, Paul and his wife, Kara and their sons, Josef (16), Jack (14). Darlene was a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was always supportive of each of our own unique careers, hobbies, sporting events, and musical performances. She especially enjoyed spending "girl-time" with her daughters-in-law. Darlene was an avid artist and jewelry designer. She spent many years painting, sculpting, making paper, and collaging. For the past decade, she managed her own jewelry design studio, DR Jewelry Designs. This served as an outlet for her many creative ideas and designs, and she was proud of the ways in which the business was successful. Darlene also loved to travel and explore. With her family, Darlene traveled to Hawaii, England, Italy, Spain, Montreal, and California. She had a spiritual connection with the Southwest part of the country. She and Del loved their trips to Harbour Island, Bahamas, where they spent their honeymoon and enjoyed many walks on the beach. We will miss our mom, grandma, and friend very much. A celebration of life is scheduled for the fall with details to come. Washburn-McReavy.com Edina Chapel 952-920-3996
