Darlene Mae (Woinarowicz) Ray
Ray (Woinarowicz), Darlene Mae Age 80. Darlene passed away peacefully on the morning of April 11th after a battle with cancer. Darlene grew up in Stephen, Minnesota and graduated from Stephen High School. She and her husband Darrell have been long-time residents of Robbinsdale, Minnesota. She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Polly Woinarowicz, and brothers Ernest, Elmer, and Leroy. Darlene is survived by her husband of 61 years, Darrell E. Ray; six children, Darla (James) Robeck, Delayne (Brent) Dubbin, Denise Ray (Rick Pedginski), Darren (Candy) Ray, Danielle (Tony) Smith, and Damon (Katie) Ray; sixteen grandchildren whom she is very proud of, Alicia (Tony) Exsted, Amorette Robeck, Whitney (Rick) Rasmussen, Forrest (Jamie) Robeck, Tyler (Shannon) Dubbin, Samantha (Ryan) Denenberg, Afton (Matt) Hooper, Dominic (Abby) Ray, Mackenzie Ray, Duncan Ray, Dawson Ray, Kiersten (Tyler) Retzer, Brooke Smith, Owen Ray, Anna Ray, and Ethan Ray; seven great-grandchildren whom she also is very proud of, Nola Exsted, Victor Rasmussen, Parker Haffeman, Kemper Haffeman, Zoe Hooper, Franklin Retzer, and Theodore Retzer; two great-grandchildren on-the-way; sister Kay Woinarowicz; brother Larry Woinarowicz; and many, many relatives and friends. Memorials preferred to Children's Hospital in Darlene's name. Due to current circumstances, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
