Miller, Joyce I. of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2020 at the age of 95. Joyce grew up in Alexandria on her family's farm and after graduation in 1942, moved to Minneapolis to attend Minneapolis Business School. She married the love of her life, Orville (Bud) Miller in September 1946 and over the next 59 years, served the Lord together. In 1959, they built a home, designed by Joyce, on Mooney Lake in Plymouth where they raised their family. Joyce was dedicated to her family, loved entertaining, hosting guests and Christian ministries in their home. She was active in and led many local Bible studies, including being President of Minneapolis area Woman's Aglow. Joyce earned a bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies and with her husband, were active ministers with the Christian Retreat Ministerial Association for over 20 years and participated in many evangelical and missionary endeavors throughout the United States. Joyce will be remembered for her strong faith in Jesus Christ and her love and dedication to her family and friends, all who will miss her words of faith and encouragement, sweet smile, loving personal-ity. Joyce is preceded in death by her husband, Orville (Bud), and grandson, Seth Roberts. She is survived by three children, Larry Miller (Tam) of Pittsburg, Kansas, Nancy Riley (David) of Rogers, Minnesota and John Miller (Kari) of Plymouth, Minnesota, six grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
