Meissner, Roger G. Age 86 of Edina passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on March 2nd, 2020. Survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Donna Mae; children, Deborah (Roy) Reed, Ryan (Rachael) Meissner; grandchildren, Morgan, Taylor, Jacob, and Elisa Meissner, Alexander and Zachary Reed; siblings, Robert (Beverly) Meissner, Edna Martin, Carol (Roger) Nelson; sister-in-law, Gloria Meissner; nephews, Jay (Vickie) Martin, Tom (Tammy) Martin; other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Preceded in death by sister, Elaine Meissner; brothers, Elmer and Clarence "Bud" Meiss ner; brother-in-law, Harold Martin. Roger was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired after 46 years as a brick-layer, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, but most of all He was a loving husband, father, and Papa. He will be deeply missed. Funeral service 11am Sat. March 7th, with visitation beginning at 10am at St. Peter's Lutheran Church, 5421 France Ave. S. Edina. Interment Riverview Cemetery, Elmore, MN. Memorials preferred to St. Peter's Church.
