Barbara (Johnson) Pickering
Pickering, Barbara (Johnson) 87, passed away peacefully Thursday the 16th of January surrounded by her loved ones. Born in 1932 in Virginia, MN, Barbara received a BS Degree from the U of M in 1954 and worked as a Registered Dietician and later at the New Brighton Park and Rec. Barbara loved good food and socializing, enjoyed playing cards, cross word puzzles, and travel. She had a wonderful laugh that brightened up a room. Barbara was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grand-mother and friend to all. Preceded in death by her father, John A. Johnson, mother, Bertha Johnson, and grandson, Evan Pickering. She is survived by her brother, William Johnson (Nancy), son, Jeffery Pickering (Sandra), daughter, Jill Solem, and daughter, Sharon Johnson (Fritz); and grandchildren Nicole, Lisa, Matthew, Sarah, Davin and Kristina; as well as great-grandchildren Frank and Jaxon, many nieces and nephews.
