Anderson, Layne Marie Age 69, born Dec. 6, 1950 to Dorothy and Jim Anderson of St. Louis Park, MN. A beloved resident of Granby, CO, Layney is survived by long-time partner, David Patner, sisters, Judith Milton and Arlyn Anderson (Jake), nephews, Peter Milton (Dawn), Jason Milton (Tracy) great nephew, Rigel and a lifetime of loving friends. She is predeceased by her parents, brother, Scott and cherished friends. Layney was genuine to her core. A kind-hearted, funny, adventurous soul, Layney was well known for her enthusiastic "I'll go!" response to any interesting invitation. While she loved the solitude of kayaking, she was an eager co-conspirator and a social whirlwind, easily making devoted friends wherever she went. She was relentlessly positive, baffled by discord, reveled in the success of others and was her loved ones' biggest cheerleader. After battling cancer for 8 years she chose to discontinue treatment and said her final "I'll go!" on Jan. 14, 2020. Layney touched so many lives. She will be dearly remembered and sorely missed.
