Sargent, James Allen Age 72, of Buffalo. He was born in St. Paul, Minnesota on June 17, 1947 the son of Lavon & Vera (Irwin) Sargent. He honorably served in the United States Navy. Employed for many years as a carpenter for Minneapolis Public Housing. He was a former Boy Scout leader. James enjoyed camping, campfires, canoeing in the Boundary Waters, hunting, fishing and building things. Survived by loving daughter: Nicole (Dave Lakabung) Sargent of Buffalo; grandsons: Alex and Cody plus a number of untold grandkids; loving relatives: Diane & Al Gapinski of Buffalo; three nephews: Corey (Colleen) Sargent of Florida, Eric Sargent of Blaine and Jacob Gapinski of Buffalo; other relatives and friends. Preceded in death by a son Jason, his parents, two brothers Larry and Roger Sargent, former parents-in-law: Murley & Jean Olson. A visitation for James Sargent will be held on Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 from 2-4 P.M. at The Peterson Chapel in Buffalo. thepetersonchapel.com
