Helgeson, Duane James of Farmington, MN, age 77, passed away October 24, 2019. Duane was born in Rochester, MN, 7 minutes after his twin sister, Diane, on November 03, 1941, the son of Irwin and Bessie Helgeson. He grew up in Kenyon, MN and graduated high school there. Duane went to work at the turkey plant in Faribault, MN and Milo Peterson's gas station, then he moved on to Hitchcock Industries in Minneapolis where he "gave it hell" until his retirement in 2006. He is remembered for his love of classic cars, sense of humor, infectious smile, dedication to his church, and devotion to his family. Preceded in death by his parents, and brother; Roger Helgeson. Survived by his wife of 57 years, Estell (Bunch) Helgeson; son, Glenn Duane; twin sister, Diane Williams; nephews, Randy, Todd, and Kevin Helgeson, and Darren Kennedy. Visitation Saturday, November 2, 2019, 10:00 a.m., Memorial Service, 11:00 a.m., Faith United Methodist Church, 710 8th St, Farmington. Reception will follow the service. Burial at the Kenyon Cemetery. Memorials to Faith United Methodist Church are preferred.
