Donn R. Hartford

Hartford, Donn R. age 80, of Chaska, passed away unexpectedly October 17, 2019. Preceded in death by parents Harold and Lida and wife Marilyn. He was born in Grand Forks and was a proud alumnus of the University of North Dakota. In retirement, Donn loved sports and enjoyed playing softball and golf and 'managing' the Twins and Vikings from wherever he watched the games. Survived by son Chris (Nichole) and grandchildren Zach, Grace and Amelia; daughter Amy Kind and grandchildren Allison and Justin; sister Marion (Ron) Hansen, sister Judy (Gary) Lidgerding and many other relatives and friends. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred. Donations will be given to the UND Foundation in Donn's name.
