Sandra Kay Longfellow

Longfellow, Sandra Kay 75, passed away Saturday July 13, 2019 at North Memorial Hospital. She was preceded in death by husband Louis Longfellow Jr., mother Elsie Brustad, father Floyd Brustad, and nephew Derek Brustad. She is survived by son Rick, brother Jack, niece Julie, nephew Jared and many Brustad and Carlson cousins. Sandra was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota on September 4, 1943. She graduated from the University of North Dakota with a degree in elementary education and earned a Masters Degree from the College of St. Thomes. She spent her career teaching in the Anoka Hennepin District. Sandra was a people person and loved and felt very close to her extended family and friends. Well known as a wonderful cook, her food and joyful personality will be forever missed at family gatherings. Celebration of Life Sunday July 28th 2:00 American Legion 400 Main St. W. Anoka. Interment at a later date at Forest Hill Cemetery, Anoka, MN.
