Nelson, Myrtle E. At age 95, Myrt passed quietly and comfortably into God's care on Feb. 8, 2019. She is survived by brother, Ken Ulman; daughters, Dawn (Mal) Berg, Jolene (Don) Marshall; grandsons and extended family. Preceded in death by husband, Dean and one brother. Myrt grew up in Mankato where she met Dean Nelson. They were happily married for 67 years. They moved to St. Louis Park, where Myrt was employed at School Dist. #283 for 29 years. She was active in Girl Scouts, St. Louis Park Women's Club, V.F.W and Gethsemane Luth. Church. Myrt and Dean traveled to many foreign countries and spent 15 years at their winter home in Sun City, AZ. Memorial service will be held Friday, June 7th at 11:00 A.M at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, 715 Minnetonka Mills Road, Hopkins, MN, with a luncheon to follow. Visitation will be at 10:00 at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Gethsemane Luth. Church or American Heart Assoc.
