S. Scott Nicholas, M.D.
Nicholas, S. Scott M.D. age 81, died peacefully at his home on October 17th. He is survived by his spouse, Roz, children Mark (Katie), Kim (Tom Boehland) and Greg (Lisa Clapes); ten grandchildren; sister, Kate (Richard Rose). Preceded in death by his parents Sydney Scott and Dorothea McCallin Nicholas. A graduate of Washburn High School in '54, the U of M cum laude '58, the U of M School of Medicine '61, and the U of Michigan '66. Senior Partner Eisenstadt Allergy & Asthma 1966-2018. Certified by the Board of Allergy & Immunology, Fellow in the American College of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology; the Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology; and the American College of Chest Physicians. President of the Twin City Allergy Society and the Minnesota Allergy Society, and he served on the Board for the International Committee of the American College of Allergy and Immunology. Clinical Professor University of MN School of Medicine. A long time Rotarian he loved tennis, golf and skiing. A celebration of Scott's life will be on Monday November 5th, at Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church (5025 Knox Ave. S. in Mpls.) at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Minnesota Public Radio, Minnesota Prostate Cancer Coalition or the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
