Adams, John Henry age 67 of Otsego, passed away unexpectedly on Mon., July 23, 2018. He was born June 18, 1951 in Minneapolis, the son of John and Margaret (Burns) Adams. John was a 1969 graduate of Vocational High School in Minneapolis. He proudly served in the United States Reserves for 8 years. John worked as a pressmen at Co-Op Printing Association in Minneapolis for 40+ years. He also worked "behind the scenes" for Homeward Bound Dog Rescue in Monticello. On July 21, 1973, John and Cheryl (Hartwick) were united in marriage. John was a very kind hearted man who took pride in taking care of anyone and anything. He loved Harleys, animals, fishing, hunting with Clint and Brady, mowing the lawn, Saturday card playing, family cookouts, watching his kids' and grandkids' sports, and spending time with his family and friends. Preceded in death by his son, Jake Adams; parents, John and Margaret Adams; and brother, Alex Adams. John will be deeply missed by his wife, Cheryl; children, Katie, Clint (Jolene), Kristi (Roger Crane), Alison (Toney) Lemke; grandchildren, Ashley, Fran, Ben, Khloee, Hayden, Kaydence, Kiera, Brady, Brynlee, and one on the way; brothers, Bruce (Gail) Adams, Richard (Colleen) Adams; best friend, Brian Packard; and many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral service Friday, July 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM, at The Peterson Chapel, 300 Main St N, St. Michael, MN.
