Kemp, Thomas S., M.D. 93, of Poynette, WI passed away peacefully on Tues., May 29, 2018. Tom was born on July 20, 1924 in Mankato, Minnesota, the son of Dr. and Mrs. A.F. Kemp. He proudly served his country in the MASH unit of the U.S. Army during the Korean War. Tom was a man of all seasons. He enjoyed playing bridge, piano, golf, and music. He was an artistic painter, a master gardener, a gourmet cook and volunteered at the MacKenzie Environmental Center and the Poynette Library. He is survived by his sister, Ann (John) Ryan of Minneapolis, MN; niece, Julie; nephews, Dennis and Michael; other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Paul and sister, Margaret. Services will be held at a later date. Pflanz Mantey Mendrala Funeral Home in Poynette (pmmfh.com) is assisting the family.
