Oscar Leland Johnson

Johnson, Oscar Leland Age 85, of Brooklyn Park, died March 2, 2018. Preceded in death by wife, Gail. Survived by children, Brad (Gail), Mark (Susan), Kristin (Richard) Guse; grandchildren, Katie, Anne, and Jake Guse, Solveigh Johnson; great-grandson, Carver Schulz; sister-in-law, Nancy Hall (Kurt Walther). Oscar taught in the Aitkin and Osseo school districts for over 35 years. He was an avid bird watcher and longtime member of the Minnesota Ornithologists' Union and Audubon Chapter of Minneapolis. A memorial service will be held Thursday, March 8th at 11am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 West Broadway, Brooklyn Park with a visitation Wednesday, March 7th from 5-8pm at Cremation Society of MN, 7835 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Park and one hour prior to the service at church. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
