Ferdelman, Beverly Mae Celebration of life services for Beverly Mae "Grandma Bev" Ferdelman, age 82, of Malmo will be held Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM at Phoenix Banquet Center in Milaca. Grandma Bev was born November 4, 1935 to Raynold and Laura (Gephart) Swanson in St. Anthony, MN. She married Laurence Joseph Ferdelman on December 17, 1955 in Minneapolis. Bev was always busy helping whether it was cleaning houses, baking cookies, giving rides, or caring for someone after surgery or illness she found joy doing kind things for others. She was an active member of Bethesda Lutheran Church of Malmo and Malmo Lions Club. She enjoyed tea time, board games and car races with kids, hosting dinners and parties, embroidery, baking, gardening and playing cards. Her love of the Lord and her life were shining examples of her love for everyone. Bev was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She passed away on February 1, 2018 at the Fairview Northland Hospital in Princeton, MN. She is survived by her sisters: Caroline Baumgartner, Marlous Schreck; children: Gale (Mike) Lawrence of Cedar and Kevin (Laurie) of Blaine, adopted daughters, Roxanne (James) Gerads and Debra Newgard; grandchildren: Kory (Errin) Lawrence, Brian (Angela) Lawrence, Pete (Amber) Rentz, Jesse Gerads, Steven (Tori) Newgard, Emily (Travis) Gerads, Kaitlin (Cynthia) Roche, Aaron (Jake) Wainman, Allyse (Kent) Wainman, Nick (Kelsey) Ferdelman, Sam (Abby) Ferdelman, Matthew Newgard and great-grandchildren: Chase, Amber, Jayden, Ava, Desmond, Brynn, Bella, Zoey, Cole, Steven Croix and other family and friends. Bev had a special place in her heart for her nephew and niece, Gary and Bea Ferdelman, and her long-time neighbors Dennis, Joan, Alanna, Will, Tom and Dale Petersen. She was preceded in death by her parents Raynold and Laura, husband Laurence, son Steven (June of 2013), and adopted son Allen Newgard (April of 2017). Arr.
