The NSIC will have half of the eight men's teams that will play in the NCAA Division II Central Regional beginning Saturday in Sioux Falls, S.D.

The four teams are top-seeded Augustana, second-seeded Minnesota State Moorhead, fifth-seeded Minnesota State Mankato and sixth-seeded Northern State.

In the first round Augustana will play Arkansas Tech; MSU Moorhead will play Pittsburg State; MSU Mankato will play Northwest Missouri State; and Northern State will take on Central Missouri State.

Three NSIC women's teams — fourth-seeded Wayne State, sixth-seeded Northern State and eighth-seeded MSU Mankato — will play in the Central Regional beginning Friday in Hays, Kan.

Division III update

The area's three Division III teams that are Sweet 16-bound got their travel assignments on Sunday. All games are Friday:

• The unbeaten St. Thomas women will head to Crestview Hills, Ky., for their matchup against Hope (Mich.). No. 1-ranked Thomas More (29-0), the host school, will face Washington (Mo.).

• The St. Olaf men will play Marietta (Ohio) in Rock Island, Ill., and Augustana, the host school, will play Mount Union (Ohio).

• The Northwestern-St. Paul men will play East Baptist Texas in Stevens Point, Wis., and Wisconsin-Stevens Point will play Emory (Ga.).

Game times will be announced later.
