NCHC pod revised

The National Collegiate Hockey Conference made changes to its season-opening pod schedule on Friday after Colorado College delayed the start of its season because of a positive COVID-19 test and quarantine for its entire team

Pod play will still begin on Tuesday as scheduled at Nebraska Omaha's Baxter Arena. But Colorado College's first four games have been adjusted, with two games moved to later in the pod and two postponed to the second part of the season.

The Tigers' scheduled opening game against host Omaha was moved to the end of the pod, which is being extended by one day to Dec. 21.

Omaha will now open Tuesday against Minnesota Duluth, a game that was moved up from Dec. 20 to give both teams more games the first week of the pod.
