Nothing attractive about Kris H? C'mon ...

"I try to look and I squint my eyes, but I don't see anything attractive about him," averred Wendy Williams on Fox 9 last week.

Was the talk show host discussing former NBA player Dennis Rodman or rapper Tyrese? Nope. Williams can't "see anything attractive" about New Jersey Nets player Kris Humphries!

Humphries' lavish wedding to Kim Kardashian, which Williams called "tacky," was naturally a hot topic Friday when she co-hosted "The Buzz" with Jason Matheson and Alix Kendall.

To promote the third season of "The Wendy Williams Show," she's on a national tour to thank fans, while hopefully attracting new ones curious about the woman whose face is plastered on the side of her pink bus.

Belatedly, I reviewed the tape from Williams' "Buzz" appearance and I'm gobsmacked by her insulting comment about Humphries' looks. He's not exactly Quasimodo. Yes, there's a boyish, even puppy-dog quality about him. Puppies are universally considered cute, aren't they? (There is also an ungainly Great Dane puppy quality to the 5-11 Williams, as she tries to remain upright while walking in those 6-inch heels she likes.)

Obviously, Williams is blinded by her disdain for the Humphries-Kardashian pairing.

"I don't particularly care for them as a couple," Williams confessed on Fox 9. "I think Reggie was a way hotter choice."

Bush was Kardashian's previous serious boyfriend. After Bush got his Super Bowl ring when he was playing for the New Orleans Saints, Kardashian thought she'd be getting the ring she wanted. To no avail, as the running back scampered around on her.

By contrast, Humphries put a ring on her finger in record time.

Feels like stating the obvious to Wendy, but when a woman is ready to get married and have children, there isn't anything hotter than the man in her life responding like the marrying kind.

Monday about a dozen State Fair-goers near the pig barn, appropriately enough, witnessed a man yelling at a teenage boy, according to bystanders known to me. The yeller reportedly was out of control as he cursed this kid while a woman timidly suggested the man lower his voice.

Then the man spit in the kid's face. Kid lowered his head. Man yelled and cursed some more. Threatened to spit in the teen's face again. Then followed through with a second disgusting delivery of saliva.

My witnesses are elders who were frozen by the horror of the scene. They were disappointed with their responses, although they hung around hoping a police officer would happen by, even though yelling and spitting at a kid probably are not crimes.
