This year's NBA Finals drew their highest TV rating since the series moved to ABC in 2003.

The Golden State Warriors' six-game win over the Cleveland Cavaliers averaged an 11.6 rating. ESPN said Wednesday that the more than 19.9 million viewers were up 30 percent from last year's five-game series between the Spurs and Heat.

Game 6 on Tuesday night drew a 13.4 rating, up 9 percent from the previous Game 6 two years ago between San Antonio and Miami.

Lee will be traded

Less than 24 hours after winning their first NBA title in 40 years, comes word the Warriors are making plans to trade their highest-paid player, David Lee.

ESPN reported that the Warriors agreed to find a new home for Lee, the former All-Star who has been relegated to mostly a spectator on the bench. Lee made $15 million this season and is set to make $15.4 million next season in the final year of a 6-year, $79.5 million deal.
