In March the weather has plenty of ups and downs. The Northeast will enjoy the
upside of things this weekend. For a nice change of pace, there are no
impending snowstorms, and temperatures will be running on the mild side. Still,
the highs for Saturday (shown here) are not quite what most would consider
pleasantly mild.
So how long will this break from the rigors of winter last? Could it be that we will get all the way to spring without another ruffling of the feathers? I doubt it, and most AccuWeather.com meteorologists would agree that the final hand of winter is yet to be played. Furthermore, the next downhill slide in the weather is likely to occur during the middle and end of next week.
So as they say, "It's Never Over Til It's Over." Story by AccuWeather.com Senior Meteorologist John Kocet
